Talking to extremists...
Right-wing extremism, Islamism and neo-Salafism pose an increasing threat to internal security. There are no precise figures on the number of extremists living in Germany or their level of radicalisation. Politicians underestimate extremist networks. The population is anxious and confused.Violence Prevention Network aims to identify radicalisation as early as possible and classify degrees of radicalisation; the network seeks to adopt appropriate (preventive) measures to reverse radicalisation processes and to initiate a process of de-radicalisation.The network focuses on a non-confrontational approach: talking to extremist and radicalised people rather than merely talking about them.
Who will the designated U.S. government address in questions of extremism and radicalisation?
When the designated U.S. government needs information about “Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)”, it will read "The ANNALS of the American Academy of Political and Social Science". In this relevant U.S. magazine Judy Korn published an article on European strategies in CVE.
