Co-founder and managing director of Violence Prevention Network. Graduate educational scientist. Since the age of fourteen, when her friends were beaten up by neo-Nazis, Judy Korn has been taking action against right-wing extremism and thinking about the topic of prejudice-based violence. She manages to curb violence in her neighbourhood in the north of Berlin and to create the conditions for a peaceful coexistence of the various youth groups. These projects involving violence-prone youths show that people have the potential for change. In 2003 Judy Korn left the civil service to found Violence Prevention Network, putting her ideals into practice and playing a significant role in shaping society. In 2007 Judy Korn was named an Ashoka Fellow for her new and thoroughgoing approach to solving a social problem permanently and on a large scale.

Co-founder and managing director of Violence Prevention Network. Graduate educational scientist and political scientist; has always been professionally dedicated to working with young people at risk. He is a founding member and board member of the association for outreach youth and social work in Berlin (Gangway e.V.) and trainer and instructor for anti-violence and competence training as well as mediation. As a lecturer, consultant and coach throughout Germany Thomas Mücke works in the areas of anti-violence, conflict management, youth work, street social work and right-wing extremism. In his work with young people Thomas Mücke places great importance on appreciation and the preservation of dignity. This attitude makes his youth work successful and gives him vital access to young people at risk.

Historian, founding member, board member and scientific advisor to Violence Prevention Network at the interface of research and civic education. His topics: Right-wing extremism and Islamism/Islamic fundamentalism with emphasis on manifestations and young people's paths to radicalisation as well as prevention and intervention. He is particularly interested in working with offenders and/or young people at risk of becoming delinquent. Jan Buschbom is the chief editor of the specialist magazine "Interventionen - Zeitschrift für Verantwortungspädagogik" (Interventions - magazine for responsible educational science) published by Violence Prevention Network, and he holds numerous workshops on the topics of shift to the right, anti-Semitism, extreme right-wing lifestyle and more.
