Since its founding, Violence Prevention Network has been a reliable partner in politics. Several federal ministries as well as the interior and justice ministries of the federal states have valued the cooperation with Violence Prevention Network for over 15 years

Our expertise ranges from advising political decision-makers on the implementation of preventive measures to the establishment of advice centres in federal states. Since 2015, Violence Prevention Network has been developing structural measures for deradicalisation in correctional facilities and probationary systems on behalf of the BMFSFJ (Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth). The nationwide implementation on behalf of the ministries of justice includes intervention, deradicalisation and qualification measures targeting young people, offenders, Syria returners, police officers, teachers, refugees, radicalised people, etc. The measures are implemented in cooperation with institutions such as schools, correctional facilities, security agencies, educational institutions, refugee homes, etc. This results in a special responsibility society as a whole, both in terms of social cohesion and domestic security of the Federal Republic of Germany.

On the international level, Violence Prevention Network acts as a working group leader of the Radicalisation Awareness Network of the European Commission and represents various federal ministries at international conferences and professional events.
