International Project Manager

We are seeking a project manager to join our international team to support our mission. Violence Prevention Network is headquartered in Berlin, but the international team is distributed globally. We offer flexible work options including hybrid and remote, and are open to flexible working, such as part-time, job sharing, or compressed hours. Some work travel inside and outside of Europe is likely.

As project manager, you will principally focus on one project, with supporting tasks on other projects, and space to develop new interests, workstreams, and partnerships that benefit both your career and Violence Prevention Network’s mission. You will be instrumental in supporting Violence Prevention Network’s International Director and CEO, who are responsible for driving strategic, business, and product development for Violence Prevention Network internationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing the project plan, ensuring alignment with grant objectives and organisational mission
  • Coordinating activities and timeline, allocating resources in line with the budget, to include
    • Organising training events, including coordinating logistics and recruiting participants
    • Developing policy briefs and thematic reports, including liaising with experts and other departments where necessary
    • Coordinating the delivery of advice and feedback to support partner-led activities
  • Identifying and engaging with relevant stakeholders, and facilitating partnerships and collaboration
  • Monitoring and reporting project progress in line with key performance indicators and evaluation frameworks
  • Providing support with external speaking engagements, such as facilitating team support on talking points, presentations, or handouts
  • Other additional and/or alternative duties as assigned, including supporting Directors or Executives as needed

 

About the Person we’re looking to hire:

This might be a great role for you if you are someone who:

  • Has a master’s degree in a field relevant to Violence Prevention Network’s mission
  • Has at least 2 years of working experience in the field of P/CVE
  • Has experience in project management or event organisation
  • Is open to international travel
  • Is fluent in English. Competence in German or other EU languages is a bonus.

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 depending on skills and experience
