The four-part course provides information about Jews in Germany, anti-Semitism, National Socialism and Israel. It is aimed at people who have immigrated to Germany and lecturers of integration courses (consisting of language and orientation courses).
The approximately 60-minute e-learning course and accompanying materials complement the “History and Responsibility” module of the integration courses. Our course supports the naturalisation process by helping immigrants to Germany understand Germany’s special historical responsibility for the National Socialist regime and its consequences, as well as for the protection of Jewish life.
The course is currently in the pilot phase. Language and orientation course instructors and other professionals working with immigrants can test the e-learning programme with their target groups (minimum German language level B1). Feedback from this practical test will be incorporated into the final revision so that as many immigrants as possible can benefit optimally from the learning programme.
