GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics is a case management tool and collection of methods for counselling practice, evaluation and reporting for use when working with radicalised individuals. Developed by Violence Prevention Network, it leverages more than 20 years of interdisciplinary expertise in preventing extremist violence. Forged through intensive collaboration between practitioners and academics, GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics professionalises counselling practice, focusing on an individual’s resources to enhance a disengagement process.

What is GRIDD PRO – Soial Diagnostics for?
GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics, was created through collaboration between practitioners and academics. The Social Diagnostics Tool aims to professionalise the processes of disengagement, deradicalisation and resocialisation counselling for radicalised individuals.
Who can use GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics?
With our pedagogically sound and practice-orientated methodology, we effectively strengthen specialists in the prevention of extremism. GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics is a process-oriented method that focuses on individual development and supports practitioners in their professional work. It comprises an integrative, biographical, needs- and resource-oriented analysis, including the social environment and specialised distancing approaches.
Introduction into GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics
To support professionals in tertiary prevention, we will provide training sessions designed to educate practitioners on effectively using GRIDD PRO – Social Diagnostics, and a comprehensive manual to support ongoing use. We also offer peer consultations and case supervision to assist with challenging cases, demonstrating how these can be incorporated into the social diagnostics process.
