Digital Praxis

The digital space, and social media in particular, have played an increasingly significant role in radicalisation processes for at least the past ten years. A thorough understanding of this space is essential for effective counselling and prevention work. This is where the project Digital Praxis comes in:

The project develops and implements several formats for professionals in the fields of extremism prevention, social work, youth and family support, as well as education, which provide training on the topic of online radicalisation. These include a professional training course, digital supporting materials, a practice-oriented reader, and a case study workshop serving as a safe space for reflection.

The professional training course, consisting of three one-day workshops, will take place in Hanover from 14 to 16 September 2026. The workshops can be attended individually or as a block. Participation and catering during the workshops are free of charge. The detailed workshop programme and registration options will be available from June.
