Thomas Mücke is a graduate educational scientist and political scientist; he has always been professionally dedicated to working with young people at risk. He is a founding member and board member of the association for outreach youth and social work in Berlin (Gangway e.V.) and trainer and instructor for anti-violence and competence training (AKT®) as well as mediation. As a lecturer, consultant and coach throughout Germany Thomas Mücke works in the areas of anti-violence, conflict management, youth work, street social work as well as right-wing extremism and Islamism. In his work with young people Thomas Mücke places great importance on appreciation and the preservation of dignity. This attitude makes his youth work successful and gives him vital access to young people at risk.
